Introducing Keynote speakers

We are looking forward to welcoming many of you at the Veterinary Science Day 2024 on June 6th at ‘De Landgoederij’, Camminghalaan 30 in Bunnik.

This year’s theme is “The good, the bad and the different – Celebrating diversity in Veterinary Science”. With this theme, we aim to showcase the diversity of exciting science taking place in our faculty, including research discoveries (‘the good’), challenges (‘the bad’) and elements of entrepreneurship and novel technologies (‘the different’).

We invite everyone to register and submit an abstract for the VSD 2024 before May 1st. We especially encourage young scientists to present their exciting data, plans and troubleshooting experiences. From all submitted abstracts, we will select this year’s presentations, pitch presentations and posters, with the aim of covering a wide variety of scientific topics.

This year’s program will also give tribune to Utrecht Holdings and the keynote speakers Prof. Rens van de Schoot, who will talk about the use of AI in research, and Prof. Margriet Sitskoorn, who will lecture on the interaction between environment, brain and behavior. Of course we will also have a nice dinner at the end of the day.
